Environmentally certified plastic – ISCC PLUS
Since 2020, Sävjo Plastic has been certified according to the International Sustainability and Carbon Certification PLUS SYSTEM (ISCC Plus). This means we offer snus cans made from environmentally certified plastic, which is often a requirement to be able to sell food packaging in stores.
Snus cans optimised for filling lines
We specialise in injection moulded snus cans made from environmentally certified plastic. Our snus cans are production friendly and optimised for filling lines. A high-quality snus can made with precision is crucial in avoiding operational shutdowns and instead allows the pace of production to be increased.
Our cans is available in both standard and miniature sizes, but we can also produce a can to your own unique specifications. The possibilities are endless.

Snus cans customised to unique designs
A snus can consists of three components: the can, outer lid and inner lid, each of which can be designed in various ways. We are happy to help develop an entirely unique box to your own design. We buy moulds in Sweden and throughout Europe.
One cost-effective alternative is to design a unique lid that fits our standard can.
3-in-1 snus can
In 2023 we launched a new patented snus can 3-in-1 with interconnected parts. Designed to match the EU’s Single-Use Plastics Directive requirements for package parts to be made interconnected if possible.
Patents and design protection
Several of our snus cans are patented through one or more patents. All our snus cans are covered by design protection. We also have several supplementary pantent applications under injunction.
